VIDEO: Baku Consulate Square in Los Angeles Renamed in Honor of Artsakh

In Los Angeles, California, the square in front of the Baku consulate has officially been renamed in honor of Artsakh. This news was shared by Armenian-American David Mnatsakanyan on his Facebook page.

The sign reads: "In support of peace, human rights, and democracy." Los Angeles City Council member Paul Krekorian, who is the author of this initiative, also participated in the opening ceremony.

"The message written on this sign is very important for the world. Currently, there is a dire situation in Artsakh; 120,000 Armenians are blockaded by Azerbaijan. There is famine and a shortage of medicines there. We need to fight against them in various ways," Krekorian stated.

Armenian-American David Hambartsumyan emphasized that this is a powerful political and strategic step by the Armenian community. He noted that they plan to continue their struggle right at this square.
