A Few Days from Now Would Have Been the Birthday of Fallen Andranik

Today, the fallen Andranik Antonian was from the village of Norabats in the Ararat region. The local mayor told Auroranews that Andranik was participating in a 25-day training exercise.

“He was not married, he has two sisters, and his parents just found out. His birthday was on September 20, and he would have turned 36. He had equipment and was engaged in farming,” the administrative leader recounted.

It is important to note that there has been a tense situation in the Gegharkunik region since this morning, as Azerbaijani Armed Forces units have opened fire from grenade launchers and other firearms towards the Armenian positions located in the directions of Sotk and Norabak. At this moment, the Ministry of Defense has reported four casualties and one injury. The situation remains tense.
