Video: Azerbaijanis Increase on Aghdam-Stepanakert Road, Says Local Resident

The situation is escalating on the Aghdam-Stepanakert road, with an increasing number of Azerbaijanis gathering. Hermine Khachatryan, a resident of Askeran, shared this in a video circulating online.

"I urge everyone to come and join us. The Azerbaijanis have increased. Come, whether from the city or the villages, let’s unite and understand what we are doing. The situation is serious," she stated.

Earlier, it was reported that two trucks loaded with 40 tons of flour had arrived in Aghdam from Baku. According to Novruz Aslanov, the head of the company organizing the transportation for the Azerbaijani Red Crescent and a member of parliament, "volunteers have mobilized to deliver the humanitarian cargo to its destination." They had stopped to set up tents and were waiting for peacekeepers to allow them to proceed.

It should be noted that the authorities of Artsakh have already stated that this action was not coordinated with them in any way.

Furthermore, residents of the Askeran region blocked the Askeran-Aghdam road near the police checkpoint to prevent the entry of the cargo sent by the Azerbaijani side via the Red Crescent. The residents have set up tents and established a watch.

On the road from Aghdam to Stepanakert, Russian peacekeepers have set up barbed wire and concrete barriers between the Red Crescent staff and the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh.
