Golden "Mercedes-Benz" Leaves Road and Overturns on Tsovagyugh-Jambarak Highway

On August 31, at 18:14, the emergency management center of the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Service received a call reporting a traffic accident near one of the vacation areas of the village of Tsovagyugh, where a vehicle had overturned and there were injuries, along with a fuel leak. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ rescue service.

A team of rescue workers from the special water rescue squad of the regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle (driver: G.M., born in 1991) had gone off the roadway and overturned at the 10th kilometer of the Tsovagyugh-Jambarak highway. Emergency medical personnel provided first aid to the driver at the scene and subsequently transported him to a medical center, where doctors assessed the injured man's condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers disabled the vehicle and stopped the fuel leak.
