The forest fire in the city of Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, is not hindering vacationers. This information has been reported by Russian media.

"The fire has not affected the tourist area, and there have been no requests for assistance from travelers," reported the Association of Russian Tour Operators.

It is noted that people are enjoying their time at the beach. Tourists are also sharing clips showing how planes are collecting water from the sea nearby to extinguish the flames.

Earlier, it was reported that there are severe forest fires in Gelendzhik, which have already spread over an area of 118 hectares.
