VIDEO: City Hall Urges Residents to Stay Indoors as Tbilisi Faces Severe Flooding
Heavy downpours in the capital of Georgia have flooded not only the streets but also residential buildings.
It has been reported that underground tunnels and metro stations have also been submerged. Residents have experienced a disastrous situation due to the downpours, as ceilings cannot withstand the pressure of the water, causing it to leak through every crack.
Earlier reports indicated that the streets of Tbilisi were flooded, with the deluge beginning just a few hours ago. The Tbilisi City Hall is urging residents to stay indoors. It has been noted that roads and underground passages have been flooded, trees have fallen, and electrical wires have been damaged. City services have been mobilized to address the issues.
