16-year-old Russian Figure Skater Missing

Alina Gorbacheva, a 16-year-old Russian figure skater, has gone missing in Moscow, according to a statement from the athlete's fan club.

"Alina disappeared yesterday evening at 7 PM. She left the 'Chkalov Arena' skating rink and headed towards the Vladimirskaya Church. The last sighting on camera was at 7:08 PM in the park. She has not been seen since," the fan club stated on its Telegram channel.

Additionally, it has been reported that her belongings were found in the park area today. Rescue teams have arrived at the scene.

In the 2023 Russian Junior Championships, Alina Gorbacheva secured first place. In the adult figure skater competitions, she placed ninth. Gorbacheva celebrated her 16th birthday in July.
