VIDEO: "Traces of Drug Use Found in Front of the 'Civil Contract' Office," Andranik Tevanyan to Police
Andranik Tevanyan, the leader of the 'Mother Armenia' alliance, during a meeting with residents of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, observed that there are traces of drug use in front of the office of the 'Civil Contract' party in that area. He approached the police and expressed his concerns.
"There are traces of drug use in front of the 'Civil Contract' office, drugs have been discarded. What response have you received to this phenomenon? Do you not suspect that there have been cases of drug use? When will you report on this?" Tevanyan asked the police.
The police officer replied that he has already reported the issue. "Over 1 billion euros worth of drugs have been imported into Armenia, and we still haven’t seen any convictions. There are advertisements for drug distribution on these buildings; the spread of drugs has become a threat, while the police are busy dispersing protesters," Tevanyan expressed his concerns.
He urged the police to focus on their primary duty—curbing drug trafficking.
