Israel Launches Missile Strike on Aleppo Airport, Rendering It Inoperable
Israeli air forces have launched a missile strike on Aleppo International Airport, resulting in the airport being rendered inoperable. This information was reported by the TASS agency, citing SANA.
“The Israeli adversary has carried out a new aggressive action against Syria, striking Aleppo International Airport at 04:30. The runway was damaged and material losses were incurred,” the statement read.
The authorities clarified that the strike originated from the Mediterranean Sea. It has been noted that this marks Israel's 22nd strike on Syrian territory this year.
Additionally, Aleppo Airport has been closed twice this year due to Israeli air strikes.
