Estonian Prime Minister Apologizes for Husband's Russian Business
Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has apologized for the fact that her husband’s company continued to operate in Russia during the war.
“I certainly apologize to all those who have been affected by this, but I am responsible for the moral assessments I have made. I still believe that it is morally wrong to operate in Russia or maintain relations with Russia at a time when there is a large-scale war ongoing. This must stop, and I urge all Estonian businesses to do the same,” the politician stated.
Kallas also mentioned that she does not intend to resign voluntarily, suggesting that the opposition try to express a lack of confidence in her.
