Medvedev Evaluates the Situation Regarding the Ukraine Conflict

Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, believes that the conflict in Ukraine is an existential one, which has already become an issue of "planetary scale." This was reported by TASS.

“In the conflict in Ukraine, the United States benefits, Europe suffers, and the whole world is in an unexpected situation. If the situation is viewed in this projection, then to some extent, this conflict is turning into a planetary-scale conflict,” noted the Russian politician.

As Medvedev points out, in the current situation, Europeans fail to see the global scale of the Ukrainian crisis, while the Americans do not wish to take it into account.
