10 People Dead in Train Fire in India
A fire broke out in a stationary train carriage at a railway station in southern India on Saturday morning. Local officials reported that several passengers ignited a fire inside the train while preparing tea using a gas stove obtained through smuggling, which led to a large fire in the train.
The fire started in the parked train around 5 AM and continued for two hours until firefighters managed to extinguish it. At least 10 people have died as a result of the blaze.
