Initially, businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin's flight was scheduled for August 22. The date was reported by MK.RU. According to the publication, the flight was postponed for unknown reasons to August 23 at 5:30 PM. At the same time, it was expected that there would be three passengers on board, but later their number increased to seven.

On August 23, news emerged about the crash of a business jet in the Bologovsky district of the Tver region. Later, a video surfaced online showing how the aircraft began to lose altitude during takeoff and then disappeared behind trees.

According to Rosaviatsiya, the list of passengers included Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner private military company.
