Body of a Man Discovered in the Yard of a High-Rise Building in Norq

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case on the grounds of suicide concerning the discovery of a male body in a yard of a high-rise building in Norq.

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the criminal proceedings were launched following a report received on August 23 by the Norq Norq Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. On that day, at approximately 23:25, a call was made to the police regarding the presence of a male body in the yard of one of the high-rise buildings on Vilnius Street.

Police and investigators discovered the body of 52-year-old Agvan Gh. who was a resident of that building. Preliminary information suggests that he may have committed suicide by jumping from the 9th floor window.

According to a source, Agvan Gh. was registered at the 'Mental Health Center'. A forensic examination has been appointed by the investigator to ascertain the circumstances of the death.
