Video: Attack on Moscow Objects with 3 Drones, One Hits Moscow City Building - Russian Defense Ministry

During the night, Kyiv launched an attack on Moscow's objects with three drones, two of which were shot down by air defense systems, and one was suppressed by electronic warfare means. No casualties have been reported. This was stated by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"On the night of August 23, anti-aircraft defense forces prevented another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack on the city of Moscow using three aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles. Two of the drones attacking the capital were destroyed by air defense systems in the airspace of the Mozhaisk and Khimki districts of the Moscow region," the ministry reported.

The Russian Ministry of Defense clarified that the third drone was suppressed by electronic warfare means and lost control, crashing into a building under construction in the Moscow City complex.

A sound of an explosion was heard in the Moscow City area, after which smoke was observed. It was later determined that the cause was the fall of the third drone, which damaged one of the newly constructed towers of Moscow City and an adjacent residential building.

Reports indicate that windows in the tower were damaged, and traces of fire and explosion are visible on the section above the 10th floor. As for the residential building, only the windows on the second floor were damaged.

In turn, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin noted that emergency services have arrived at the scene. "City emergency services are examining the area around the complex to ascertain the consequences of the attack. Several windows have been broken in two adjacent five-story buildings," the Moscow mayor reported on his Telegram channel.
