Russian Mi-8 Military Helicopter Landed at One of Ukraine's Armed Forces Bases: Media
A Russian Mi-8 military helicopter has reportedly landed at one of the bases of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This information was shared by journalist Yuri Butusov, as reported by Unian, although official confirmation has yet to be released.
The journalist refers to sources within the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who have confirmed details about the military helicopter flying out from one of Ukraine's air bases some time ago.
It is noted that the helicopter is intact and may be utilized for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces after thorough inspection and equipment examination.
Andrei Yusov, a representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's Main Intelligence Directorate, confirmed that such an event did indeed occur but refrained from providing details, emphasizing that further official communication is awaited.
It is important to note that while this information is not official, if confirmed, it would mark the first intentional transfer of such equipment by the Russian Federation.
Additionally, 'Ukrainska Pravda' published a photograph related to the incident. Conversely, some Russian sources claim that the image is incomplete, as it does not display the damaged part of the helicopter. They also report that the helicopter has gone missing, and the crew has been shot.
