Photos: Three Killed in Drone Attack on Health Resort in Belgorod Region

Three people have died as a result of a double shelling by Ukraine on a health resort in the village of Lavi, Belgorod. The regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported this.

Earlier, the governor informed that Ukrainian military forces had dropped two grenades from a drone on the premises of the health resort in the Valuyskiy district. Four windows were smashed by shrapnel, and the facade of the building was damaged.

“As a result of the double shelling of the health resort in the village of Lavi in the Valuyskiy district, three civilians have died. The Ukrainian armed forces dropped an explosive device from a drone while people were in the street. Two men died on the spot from their injuries. Medical professionals fought until the end for the life of one victim, but the received injuries were incompatible with life,” Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. It is noted that the village of Lavi is located approximately 7 km from the city of Valuyki, and about 22 km from the Ukrainian border.
