Citizen Rescued from Akhstev River

On August 22, at 23:49, a call was received at the crisis management center of the Tavush regional rescue department reporting that a citizen was spotted in the Akhstev River and that rescuers were needed.

A firefighting rescue unit was dispatched to the scene from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Rescuers brought the citizen, identified as S. D. (born in 1994), out of the river and transported him on a stretcher to an ambulance. The injured individual was hospitalized at a medical center, where doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory.
