Body of 87-Year-Old Woman Found Fully Burned
On August 23, a tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region due to violations of fire safety rules and requirements. At around 6:00 AM, the operational management center of the Tavush regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia received a call reporting a house fire in the Barekamavan community of the Noyemberyan district.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, authorities arrived at the scene, including Arthur Mkrtchyan, the head of the Tavush regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and acting head of the Noyemberyan police department, Mher Budaghyan. A fire brigade from the Ministry's emergency services also arrived, with one firefighting unit dispatched to the location.
The firefighters battled the flames for several hours and eventually extinguished the fire. Following this, they discovered the charred body of the homeowner, 87-year-old Nakhsun V.
A group from the Tavush regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia also arrived at the scene, led by the acting head H. Beglaryan.
