Woman Who Abused Child Transferred to Abovyan Women's Colony

A woman who exhibited brutal behavior towards a child has just been transferred to the well-known women's colony in Abovyan. This information was reported by ArmLur.am.

It has been made known to the media that she will be kept in quarantine conditions for 7 days, after which she will be moved to solitary confinement. She will remain in isolation until a verdict is reached, after which she will join the general group of convicts.

Earlier, it was reported that a video circulating on the internet depicted obvious physical, sexual, and psychological abuse being inflicted on a minor child, allegedly by family members, particularly the mother. The police of the Republic of Armenia reported that the woman who abused the minor has been located and arrested.
