Video: Two Drones Destroyed in the Sky Above Moscow Region
The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported the destruction of two Ukrainian drones in the sky above the Moscow region. The first drone was detected around 6:50 AM local time, as stated in the military department's Telegram channel.
The drone was "suppressed by electronic warfare means," lost control, and fell in the Pokrovskoye village area of the Ruski district, ministry officials mentioned. There were no casualties from the attack. The Defense Ministry did not clarify whether there were damages caused by the fallen drone.
The second attack was thwarted at 8:16 AM local time. "The Ukrainian drone was timely detected and destroyed by the air defense standby forces in the Istrinsky district of the Moscow region," the defense ministry reported.
It is noteworthy that restrictions had been imposed on incoming and outgoing flights at the capital's airports; however, these airports are now operating normally.
