New Details on the Explosion in Armavir
On August 20, at 18:34, the crisis management center of the Armavir regional rescue service received a call about an explosion at a gas station located at the intersection in Dalarik village, which led to a fire.
Four firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service were dispatched to the scene with a fire complexity of 'Number 2'. It was found that the explosion occurred at the compressor hub of the gas station.
The fire was contained by 19:08 and extinguished by 19:42. After extinguishing, further salvage operations were conducted. The wooden structures of the gas station's roof (approximately 300 sq.m), electrical panel, cables, and two electric motors were damaged by the fire.
Two citizens, D. E. (born in 2002) and M. S. (born in 1968), were taken to a medical center, where doctors assessed their health condition as serious but stable.
