Additional Beef and Pork Will Be Sold in Stepanakert at 4,000 Drams per Kilogram, Inspectors Will Monitor

Starting August 21, additional quantities of beef and pork will be sold at the meat markets in Stepanakert for a maximum price of 4,000 drams per kilogram.

To prevent speculative purchases, employees from the police, the State Revenue Committee, and the State Inspectorate Management Committee will be present. This information was provided by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

“Thanks to the organizational work carried out in recent days, additional meat supplies of beef and pork will be made available in the market of Stepanakert starting tomorrow, with the maximum price of 1 kilogram set at 4,000 drams, which we will try to maintain for a certain period of time. Sales will take place at the meat markets in Stepanakert, where inspectors from the police, State Revenue Committee, and State Inspection Management Committee will be present to exclude speculative purchases. Measures are also being taken to increase the volume of bread supply as much as possible. Despite the complex situation created by the blockade of Artsakh, the government continues to take all necessary actions to alleviate the burden on the population,” the announcement stated.
