Family Continuously Deceived, told ‘We’ll Take Her Soon’ but They Never Do: Protest Participant
A protest near the Armenian office of the International Committee of the Red Cross has been suspended until Monday. "There is hope; we can achieve the transfer. If we receive a positive response, we will express our gratitude to the Red Cross, but if we are deceived again, we will continue our demand. The family is constantly being deceived, told 'we’ll take her soon,' but they never do—this is unacceptable. This is about the body of a 21-year-old girl, but even this is being obstructed," said a protest participant.
Previously, it was reported that citizens had blocked the entrance to the committee, demanding immediate action to transfer the body of Helen Dadayan, who lost her life in a tragic accident on August 14 on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway near the village of Lanjik, which claimed the lives of 11 people.
