Dust Levels in Yerevan Exceed Permissible Limits

The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center has reported on air quality in Yerevan for the period of August 10-16.

Dust levels exceeded permissible concentration limits throughout the week in the Central administrative district. In Arabkir, this occurred on August 15, while in Shengavit, the limits were exceeded on August 10 and 16. In Nor Nork, however, limits were not exceeded.

The levels of nitrogen dioxide exceeded permissible concentration limits in the Central district on August 10, 12, 15, and 16, as well as in Nor Nork on August 12 and 16. The levels of sulfur dioxide remained within permissible concentration limits.
