Tragic Car Accident in Ararat Region: Mercedes Crashes into Iron Barrier

Today, on August 17, a tragic car accident occurred in the Ararat region. At around 20:20, a Mercedes vehicle, under still unknown circumstances, veered off the traffic lane on the Dash-takar-Urcadzor road and crashed into an iron barrier. As a result of the accident, two individuals were transported to the hospital with extremely severe diagnoses.

Civilians were the first to respond and provide assistance to the injured. Medical professionals administered first aid on-site before transferring the injured to the hospital.

While an investigative team was working at the scene, the Ararat police received a report from the hospital that one of the injured had passed away without regaining consciousness, while the other was being transported to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.
