Ford Focus Crashes into Parked ZIL Truck on Myasnikyan Avenue

Today, on August 17, a traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:50, a Ford Focus, driven by 48-year-old Marine M. from Kotayk Province, crashed into the rear of a ZIL 131 truck, driven by 45-year-old Robert M. from Yerevan.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the Ford was transported to Heratsi University Hospital No. 1 with bodily injuries. The injured individual was first aided by bystanders and the emergency medical team who arrived promptly from Yerevan’s 1-03 ambulance service.

A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia also arrived on the scene. The firefighters disconnected the vehicles' batteries and are currently monitoring the situation.
