Emergency Incident on Yerevan Bus Route

On August 15, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 18:30, the right front tire of a Hyundai passenger bus serving route number 47 detached and collided with a parked Mercedes vehicle on Mashtots Avenue.

According to shamshyan.com, fortunately, there were no injuries among the approximately 30 passengers on the bus, although panic and fear ensued. The first responders were the police.

Some passengers recounted, “We were traveling calmly, and the driver was driving very slowly when we suddenly felt that the bus was about to flip over. Thankfully, the driver oriented himself correctly and prevented further dangerous developments. To be honest, many of us were panicking in the bus, but it was fortunate that the police not only evacuated everyone safely but also provided psychological support to those who were a bit shaken.”

They expressed their gratitude to both the bus driver and the police.
