Training Aircraft Crashes, One Crew Member Killed

A training aircraft L-39 has crashed in the Krasnodar region, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, as reported by TASS. Preliminary information indicates that one member of the crew has died. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

"On August 14, 2023, during a planned training flight, the L-39 training aircraft of the training aviation regiment was involved in an accident during landing. Preliminary reports indicate that one crew member has died," stated the ministry.

According to the military agency, the aircraft was destroyed within the airport's territory.
