Video: Pilots of Russia's 102nd Military Base Conduct Complex Aviation Maneuvers in Armenia
Pilots of the MiG-29 multi-role fighters from the operational-tactical aviation of Russia's Southern Military District participated in training flights in Armenia, where they enhanced their aircraft control skills. This information was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District.
Before the flights, the pilots received pre-flight instructions from the airbase command. The training flights were conducted both individually and in pairs, and included mountainous terrain in addition to the designated routes.
The pilots also developed cooperation mechanisms with flight control groups and units ensuring flight shifts. Over 120 servicemen from Russia's Southern Military District were involved in the training flights in Armenia, with around 20 units of military and special equipment deployed, including MiG-29 multi-role fighters.
