12 patients receiving hemodialysis have refused to leave Artsakh. This information was reported by the Artsakh information center.
“Due to the complete blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan, the health ministry has addressed the International Committee of the Red Cross to evacuate hemodialysis patients to specialized medical centers in Armenia. After approximately one week without medical supplies, these patients may face fatal consequences,” the statement reads.
It was reported that a total of 41 patients were continuously receiving programmed hemodialysis at the Republican Medical Center LLC, of which 19 have been evacuated to the Republic of Armenia by the Red Cross in recent days. All patients were offered the opportunity to evacuate; however, 12 have declined, and the evacuation of another 10 will take place tomorrow.
