VIDEO: Kherson Shelled, Civilian Casualties Reported
The Russian Armed Forces have opened artillery fire on the towns of Shirokaya Balka and Stanislav in the Kherson region. As a result, six people have died, and two others have been injured. This was announced by Igor Klimenko, the head of Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In Shirokaya Balka, all members of a family have been killed – the husband, wife, and their daughter, who was born just 23 days ago. Additionally, their 12-year-old son was injured and hospitalized in critical condition, but later died in the hospital.
On Sunday, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that since the start of the war, 500 children have been killed in Ukraine, and another 1,097 children have been injured, sustaining various degrees of harm.
