The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Situations Department reports that on August 13, at 13:06, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue department received a call regarding a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, near the village of Paruyr Seyrak. Injured individuals were reported.

A firefighting team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 86th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, a Toyota (driver T. Sh., born in 1999) and a Nissan (driver L. B., born in 1993) collided, resulting in the Toyota veering off the roadway and plunging into a concrete drainage ditch.

Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, the drivers and a passenger of the Toyota, T. Sh. (born in 2003), were extricated from the vehicles by local forces. They were subsequently hospitalized at Ararat Medical Center.

The rescuers disabled the cars and prepared them for towing.
