New Details on the Fire in Komayq

On August 13, at 11:26 am, the Crisis Management National Center received a report that grass cover was burning in a park near the intersection of Zakyan and G. Lusavorich Streets in Yerevan.

Two firefighting units from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to the scene.

It was determined that waste from amusement park rides was on fire in the park area. The fire was contained by 12:05 pm and extinguished by 1:26 pm. Waste from the attractions and household items were burned.
