Tourist Dies and Injuries Reported Due to Rock Collapse in Russia

In the village of Bezengi in the Kabardino-Balkaria region of Russia, a tourist has died following a rock collapse. Evacuation efforts are currently underway, according to REN TV.

According to updated information, there were two groups in the Kabardino-Balkaria mountains. In a group of three tourists from Saint Petersburg, one person has died and two have been injured. In the second group, five out of six were affected.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that rescuers have airlifted the injured individuals to hospitals.
