Environmental Inspection Authority Imposes Fines for Air Pollution in Yerevan
In an effort to reduce dust emissions, employees of the Environmental and Mining Inspection Authority documented several violations during the first ten days of August in Yerevan. Four organizations faced administrative liability for violating air protection requirements at construction sites.
The report stated, “During the execution of communication works, five cases of norm violations were recorded. Additionally, the drivers of 14 trucks transporting loose materials such as sand, gravel, and soil without opaque cover were also subject to administrative fines.”
The report emphasizes that comprehensive monitoring measures for air protection continue, along with explanatory work being conducted.
