Car Crashes into Road Divider Barrier; One Injured

On August 12, at 08:41, the emergency response center of the Kotayk region received a report of a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, indicating that there was one injured. This was announced by the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

A rescue team from the special emergency response unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that on the 17th kilometer of the M-4 highway, a "Skoda" vehicle (driver A.A., born in 1990) collided with the road divider barrier and subsequently crashed into an advertising pole.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver was extricated from the vehicle by local forces.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery, closed the gas cylinder valve, and transported the injured person to the ambulance on a stretcher.
