VIDEO: There is a pothole on every kilometer of the Dilijan–Ijevan road, who will take care of it? Prime Minister
The quality of road maintenance in Armenia is disgracefully poor. This was stated today, August 11, during a government meeting by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who noted that he realized this while traveling across the Republic in recent days.
“There are potholes and cracks on the roads that the servicing company is obligated to eliminate. There is a pothole on every kilometer of the Dilijan–Ijevan road, who will take care of it? Why should the Prime Minister of the country have to address this? It means that certain people are not doing their jobs at all. It indicates that some people are not fulfilling their responsibilities,” said Pashinyan.
Addressing the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, Pashinyan stated, “I want the names of those people. I instruct that a service investigation be conducted, and I want the names of those responsible who should have ensured that the contracting companies properly carried out all these functions,” said Pashinyan.
