VIDEO: The Hawaiian Islands in the Grips of Fire

The Hawaiian Islands are engulfed in flames. Due to wildfires, schools in several communities have been closed, and mass evacuations of residents are underway. Some locals are fleeing from the flames of the ocean.

Wildfires in Hawaii have already destroyed numerous buildings in the vicinity of Maui, including the historic town of Lahaina.
