Suicide in a Village of Armavir Region: Body of 47-Year-Old Man Found Hanging

On August 9, a suicide occurred in the Armavir region. Around 14:00, a call was received at the Vagarshapat emergency medical station informing that a team of emergency doctors had responded to a call at a private home in one of the villages, where they discovered the body of a man hanging.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police and investigators established that at approximately 13:30, 47-year-old Arthur K. had committed suicide by hanging himself with a fabric rope from the roof of his greenhouse at his home in the mentioned village.

The preliminary conclusion by the forensic doctor indicated that there were no signs of violence found on the body upon external examination. A criminal case has been initiated in the Vagarshapat investigative department regarding the incident. An autopsy has been ordered by the investigator.
