Russian Citizen Hits Two Boys with Ford Fusion
Today, on August 9, an accident occurred in the Lori region. Around 16:40, a Russian citizen, 36-year-old Artyom T., while driving a Ford Fusion, hit pedestrians at the beginning of First Street in the village of Jrashen in the city of Spitak, injuring 13-year-old Smbat A. and 12-year-old Harutyun A., who are residents of the Lori region.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene and called for an ambulance. The medical team from the Spitak Medical Center, which arrived quickly, provided first aid to the children on the spot and then transported them to the Spitak Medical Center.
Doctors at the hospital also provided the necessary assistance and then transferred the children by ambulance to the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center in Yerevan. Following the investigator's instructions, the vehicle was transferred to the special area preserved by the Spitak Police Department.
