One of the Missing Tried to Call His Wife an Hour and a Half After the Explosion: New Details
Russian Telegram channels report that there has been a victim following an explosion at the Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant in the Moscow region's Sergiev Posad. The deceased is a 45-year-old woman who suffered burns across her body, leading to her death.
It has also been reported that one of the missing individuals attempted to call his wife an hour and a half after the explosion. Relatives believe that Alexander was calling from beneath the rubble, but his phone is currently dead and unreachable. His wife missed the call, and now his phone does not respond; she suspects that her 62-year-old husband tried to contact her from under the debris.
At this time, emergency services are searching for three individuals trapped under the rubble. It is important to note that the incident occurred at an optical-mechanical plant specialized in the production of surveillance equipment for law enforcement and industry.
Earlier reports indicated dozens of injuries following the explosion. According to Russian sources, the explosion may have been caused by human error.
