Fire in Kornidzor Village

On August 9, at 09:29, the Crisis Management Center of the Syunik Regional Rescue Service received a call reporting a fire in one of the houses on 8th street of Kornidzor village.

Two fire rescue teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 11:44 and extinguished by 14:53. Approximately 500 kilograms of stored fodder and about 90 square meters of wooden structural elements of the roof were burned.

Residents of Kornidzor village and the volunteer fire brigade from Tegh village also participated in the firefighting efforts.
