Approximately 10 Hectares of Vegetation Burned Near the Landfill of Spitak City

On August 9 at 14:27, the crisis management center of the Lori Regional Rescue Department received a report that a grassy area was burning near the landfill of Spitak City. This was announced by the Armenian Rescue Service.

A response team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with two firefighting units, was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained at 16:15 and extinguished by 16:24. Approximately 10 hectares of vegetation were burned, according to the report.
