What Students Should Know About the Special Operation: Russia's New History Textbook

The head of the Russian Ministry of Education, Sergey Kravtsov, presented the new history textbook for the 11th grade during a press conference with TASS. The textbook discusses the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia in 2014. It explains the reasons and circumstances that led to the incorporation of the new regions into Russia, as well as the factors that have contributed to the current situation in the Special Military Operation zone.

The final chapter of the 11th-grade Russian history textbook is titled “Russia Today: A Special Military Operation.” Additionally, Vladimir Medinsky, head of the Russian Military Historical Society and assistant to the president, made last-minute corrections to it.
