Driver Found in Marmarik River After Car Accident

On August 7, an accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 23:40, the National Center for Crisis Management of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that a vehicle had fallen into the Marmarik River on the Megradzor-Hankavan road.

It was revealed that 24-year-old Karen Kh., a resident of Shirak province, had gone off the road while driving his Volkswagen Golf and partially ended up in the Marmarik River under still unknown circumstances.

Emergency medical personnel from the Hrazdan Medical Center arrived promptly, and the driver reported that he had not sustained any injuries and refused medical assistance.
