Photos: Driver Crashes Vehicle into Cemetery, Breaking Headstone; One Injured is a Child

On August 6, an accident occurred in the Lori province. Around 06:30, 38-year-old Kristina T. from Yerevan lost control of her Volkswagen Jetta on the 1st km of the Alaverdi-Bagratashen road, veering off the drivable area and crashing into a cemetery marked "Varsenik Markosyan," approximately 1.5 meters from the right roadside.

According to the source, as a result of the accident, Kristina T. and her 15-year-old passenger were taken to the Alaverdi Medical Center with injuries.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Tumanyan investigative department regarding the incident.
