What Putin and Erdogan Can Discuss in Turkey: Media
Energy projects between Turkey and Russia, particularly the "gas hub" project, may be discussed during Russian President Vladimir Putin's planned visit in August, CNN Türk reported on Saturday morning, citing its sources.
President Putin and Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan have confirmed their intention to meet, with the venue and dates to be coordinated through diplomatic channels, previously reported by Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“In August, President Erdogan is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During their meeting, issues related to the resumption of the "grain corridor" agreement will be discussed,” the channel's report stated, adding that the parties will also address the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict.
“Discussions will also include Turkey's transformation into a gas center and other energy projects,” the broadcaster reported.
