Video: Aircraft Collides with Jet Bridge at Sochi Airport
An aircraft traveling from Nizhny Novgorod to Novosibirsk made a stopover for refueling at Sochi Airport when it collided with a jet bridge with its left wing while parking. Subsequently, all passengers were asked to leave the aircraft.
According to Russian media reports, the Airbus A330-300 owned by Nordwind Airlines landed at Sochi Airport on August 4 at 21:00 Moscow time for refueling. The incident occurred after landing when the crew attempted to park the aircraft.
The airline decided to change the aircraft, and the flight to Novosibirsk was postponed. Passengers were accommodated in a hotel, and the new flight is scheduled for August 5 at 06:54 Moscow time.
