The West is Blackmailing Armenia: Denis Gonchar

The countries of the West are blackmailing Armenia through dirty methods, directing it against Russia. This was stated by Denis Gonchar, the director of the Fourth Department of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an interview with TASS.

“If we talk about some negative aspects in the relations with Yerevan, they are primarily due to the West's unceasing attempts to undermine the Russian-Armenian partnership. Any means are being deployed, including absolutely dirty methods, to worsen relations,” the diplomat noted.

Gonchar concluded his remarks by stating, “We rely on the wisdom of our Armenian friends. We are ready to address all problematic aspects through allied channels.”
